Following a months-long delay, Dua Lipa finally got her shot to rock the Saturday Night Live stage during last night’s show!
On December 20th, the London-born pop star served as SNL‘s final 2020 musical guest following the release of her sophomore album, Future Nostalgia, some two years after the 25-year-old first appeared on America’s longest running comedy sketch show where she performed tracks from her debut self-titled album. Originally scheduled for the last weekend of March, the show was ultimately canceled when SNL halted production due to the pandemic.
Accompanied by a handful of backup dancers and musicians, the multi-Grammy nominated songstress sung “Don’t Start Now,”.
Dua Lipa recently nabbed six 2021 Grammy Awards nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Future Nostalgia and she shared her emotional reaction on social media last month.
