Dua Lipa Lays Down ‘New Rules’ For COVID Dating On ‘Corden’: Watch

On a recent edition of The Late Late Show with James Corden, Dua Lipa stopped by to give an educational update on her breakout hit “New Rules” for how to navigate dating during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before diving into a rendition of her latest hit song, the “One Kiss” vocalist performed a fresh take on “Don’t Start Now” – aimed toward the post-COVID era. From there, the beat switches to a fan favorite instrumental for “New Rules” in which Dua sings “One, get in the zone/ No doing edibles at home alone/ Two, stalk their Instagram/ Gotta background check if you wanna slam/ Three, up your waxing game/ No one’s seen you naked since February/ And if you hate it off/ Watch out if they start to cough/ I’ve got new rules for dating/ Six feet apart, no mating/ Masks can be irritating/ No more procrastinating/ These are the rules for dating,”.

With Corden as her hype man watch the funny exhibition here.

The Grammy Award winner is no stranger to reworking her tunes, as she recently released a complete remixed edition of her full Future Nostalgia album. Courtesy of Warner Music some names included in the re-worked effort include The Blessed Madonna, Yaeji, Joe Goddard and more … listen here.
