Former One Direction Member Zayn Malik Signs with RCA

Former One Direction member Zayn Malik recently signed a deal with Turn First Artists, the elite management agency that includes Iggy Azelia, Ellie Goulding and Rita Ora.

Despite early-July rumblings that Zayn had signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco Music label, that is not the case as the former boy band members inks a recording contract deal with RCA Records. And Cowell went out of his way to tweet his congratulations, stating:

Previous stars to ditch their boy band roots and go solo include Nick Jonas from The Jonas Brothers, whose song ‘Jealous‘ has created great momentum for his solo career, Justin Timberlake from *N Sync and Robbie Williams from Take That from the United Kingdom .

All of us at PRO MOTION want to wish Zayn the best of luck with RCA as we know he’ll be in good hands!
