To wrap up an on odd 2020 and usher in 2021, deadmau5 is offering some relief this New Year’s Eve by putting on a number of concerts.
The mau5trap president has announced five drive-in events, including back-to-back nights for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, followed by a Testpilot set on January 2nd in San Bernardino. And following a several day respite, deadmau5 will re-embark on another pair of dates in Chula Vista on January 7th and 8th. In conjunction with the well-known event brand Insomniac, the first set of shows will take place at the NOS Events Center, followed by a two-night stint at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater in Chula Vista.
The 39-year-old artist hasn’t let Covid-29 stifle his style as he effortlessly pivoted from live shows to streaming content and performances during the height of worldwide lockdowns. The Canadian EDM superstar also recently released “Bridged By A Lightwave”, the long-awaited collaboration with Kiesza. His latest release returns to an era when progressive house reigned supreme as the versions marry festival-primed EDM and amazing vocals.
