Citizen Queen Shares Original ‘Call Me Queen’: Listen + Watch

Coming in hot with their first original track, Citizen Queen recently released their female power anthem, “Call Me Queen.”

Formed in 2018 by Pentatonix’ Scott Hoying, Citizen Queen started gaining momentum with a number of YouTube covers including the five-gal 2019 video “Evolution of Girl Groups,” that has since garnered more than 20 million views to date.

Presenting their newest project, the RCA Records-released tune addresses feminine strength and complexities as the troupe’s members – Kaedi Dalley, Hannah Mrozak, Cora Isabel, Nina Nelson, and Kaylah Sharve’ – rock lingerie, drop a self-affirming verse, and pull off a bank heist – all at the same time.

The major label single features all of Citizen Queen’s members rapping and singing empowering lyrics about finding inner strength and harnessing the power. The underlying production offers heavy rhythm as the support system for the ladies’ recorded performance.
