Ava Max Drops ‘Kings And Queens’ From Upcoming Album: Listen

Following the multi-format success of her mega-hit “Sweet but Psycho,” Ava Max returns with her newest single, “Kings and Queens” slated to appear on her debut album due later this year.

Singing “If all of the kings had their queens on the throne/ We would pop champagne and raise a toast/ To all of the queens who are fighting alone/ Baby, you’re not dancing on your own,” the Wisconsin native is accompanied by bursts of electric guitar and driving percussion courtesy of frequent collaborator Cirkut. The lyrics speak to the same kind of inclusion and solidarity issues addressed in prio Ava Max productions.

“Kings and Queens” marks Max’s first song of 2020 and follows a break-out 2019 season. In addition to “Sweet But Psycho,” Max has released “So Am I,” “Freaking Me Out,” “Blood, Sweat and Tears” and “Torn.” Listen to her latest song here.
