After years of waiting and mounting anticipation, Alan Walker has finally dropped his massive collab with Ruben, the RCA Records-released “Heading Home.”

Originally created years ago along with his hit “Faded,” the Norwegian producer/DJ had only played the song out once, but kept it under wraps until now. “Right after releasing ‘Faded’ in 2015, I started this demo project called ‘Heading Home.’ I performed it live once, but I’ve been working on several edits ever since, and never actually released it. Just based on that live performance, it soon became a fan favourite among Walkers. They’ve kept requesting for it to be released, so it’s great to finally get it out” Walker said in a statement.

Along with the recording that begins with a simple guitar and Ruben’s voice singing “Nobody sees me/ Now, I’m a one man show/ I’ll do this on my own/ We knew it all then/ Now, this is all I know/ Guess I’m heading home now” that then blossoms into an electronic-tinged production has come a visual. The clip follows the dystopian aesthetic of the 22-year-old’s other videos and serves as the final chapter in the World of Walker trilogy. Check out “Heading Home” from Alan Walker and Ruben here.
