It’s been a busy few months for Zayn, who welcomed his first child with model Gigi Hadid back in September and celebrated his 28th birthday earlier this week with a video game/superhero-themed party. In addition to his personal milestones, the former One Direction’er released his latest full length, Nobody Is Listening, on January 15th.
Zayn’s new album comes almost three years after his 29-track 2018 album Icarus Falls, and features previously-released singles “Vibez” and “Better.” The RCA Records project spans a total of 11 tracks, lasting just 35 minutes of classic and modern R&B music.
The English singer played a much bigger role in the latest recording process than before, executive-producing the entire album. With the exception of two songs with returning collaborator Salt Wives, Malik works with a different producer on each track, few of whom are well-known. The only features are R&B singer Syd on “When Love’s Around” and British rapper Devlin on “Windowsill.”
