As the government shutdown continues, many federal workers are still working without pay, including those who protect airports and passengers. Some TSA agents at NYC’s JFK Airport have taken advantage of the situation and are now jamming to their favorite tunes.

According to multiple reports, the unpaid workers have been playing uncensored material from Travis Scott, Kanye West, Ludacris, and more throughout the entire location. “JFK Airport blasting Ludacris at 5:45 am is a vibe,” one person shared on Twitter. The selections were not confined to rap, as Paramore and the Beastie Boys were also heard in the building.

A spokesperson for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said that TSA and airline employees have control over the playlist at certain locations, making this change of vibe allowable and not a violation of any current rules. While this is a new pace for many working at and traveling through the airport, there is no knowing how long these conditions will last.
