On her latest single “Glad He’s Gone,” Tove Lo holds nothing back when she explains why her friend should be glad her ex-boyfriend is no longer in the picture. And on Wednesday night, she made sure that the whole world got the same message.
Tove Lo took the stage as the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform the Universal Music-released recording. The set was covered in artificial grass and leaves, while the Swedish songstress sported a gold trench coat in imitation of the song’s artwork. The singer gleefully danced around the studio, celebrating the departure of her friend’s ex.
As her performance came to a close, Lo slowly lowered herself onto the grass-covered floor and while the audience applauded, Colbert himself got down on all fours to crawl over and send the show to a commercial break. Watch the inspiring exhibition of Tove Lo’s “Glad He’s Gone” here.
