The four coaches on The Voice teamed up for the Season 11 premier to give a rockin’ performance of Aerosmith’s “Dream On.” The power ballad took off with Alicia Keys performing the piano intro and taking the first verse. Blake Shelton then joined in for the second verse while Adam Levine was on guitar duty and sang the third. Things got taken to the next level when Miley Cyrus emerged from large flames and killed it in the chorus.
As an added bonus, Levine gave an uncanny rendition of the falsetto parts towards the end. When the performance was over, the screen cut to black with the words “In loving memory of our friend Christina Grimmie,” a Season 6 contestant who was tragically shot in Orlando back in June.
