Tegan & Sara just revealed the colorful video for “I’ll Be Back Someday” and the vibe is straight 90’s.

The Natalie Fält-directed visual is an “an ode to anxiety” and finds the duo in some kind of waiting room, performing in front of multi-colored walls and donning several stylish outfits including edgy boots, retro sneakers, patterned button-downs and more. They do this all while singing lyrics like “Sit and watch, my TV set/ What is on, will make it better/ I wanna call and ask, what’s up/ Gonna dial but then I stopped (why don’t you call).”

“We worked with our favorite stylist in the world, Toyo Tsuchiya for the looks for this video,” the two shared with their fans. (Tsuchiya also dressed the duo for the 2015 Oscars.) “She is so good and understands our style so well, she has really nailed the 90s inspired but modern vibes we have wanted for Hey, I’m Just Like You,” they added.

“I’ll Be Back Someday” is the lead single from the Canadian Indie Pop duo’s forthcoming ninth album Hey, I’m Just Like You, which is a return to the songs the sisters wrote back in the ’90s when they were between the ages of 15 and 17. It is set for release on September 27th via Sire Records. Watch its video here.
