Tegan and Sara have spent the last two decades working as activists for LGBTQ and women’s rights. Now, the duo team up with Teva Footwear to raise money for their cause.

On Wednesday (May 22) the company announced the release of their new Flatform Universal Pride sandals in honor of upcoming Pride month celebrations. The fashion-forward pieces bear the typical Teva-style straps, but now with a rainbow-striped platform underneath. For each pair of sandals sold, the shoe maker has pledged to donate $15 to the Tegan and Sara Foundation.

In a video announcement, the two Canada-born artists said that they were excited to use the money raised to fund scholarships that will help send more LGBTQ youth to queer-centric summer camps this summer. “They look like this, and they go this way, and you put them on your foot,” Sara joked, before Tegan offered to just show fans their new sandals.
