Taylor Swift kicks off 2020 with the unveiling of her Netflix documentary Miss Americana, that will debut during next weeks Sundance Film Festival.

The Pennsylvania native took to social media on Wednesday (January 15th) to reveal the film’s official poster, featuring a modest side portrait of Swift with a flat, black background. Netflix did the rest of the work with the synopsis “Taylor Swift embraces her role as a songwriter and performer — and as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice.”

News about the Swift doc broke after Scooter Braun acquired her pre-Lover catalog from Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine Records and then reportedly prohibited her older songs and performance clips from being used in the film. It is still unclear if that move was ever made by Braun.

Stay tuned for more regarding Miss Americana, its debut on January 23rd, and eventual release via Netflix on January 31st.
