Martin Garrix + Macklemore’s ‘Summer Days’ Cracks Billboard Dance Top 10

Martin Garrix

Top Dutch DJ Martin Garrix is on a tear with his most recent pop collaboration with Macklemore and Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump. Following multiple solid and strategic moves in past weeks from #31* Power Pick to #22* Power Pick to #13*, “Summer Days” has now broken into the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart’s Top 10 and currently sits at #8*.

Initially propelled by the original RCA Records-released single that features a bouncy and upbeat production as well as exciting vocals from its multiple collaborators, the song has accrued remixes from a group of artists known for their next-level abilities. So far, Dirty Werk, Tiesto, Junior Sanchez and Cristian Poow have lent their talents to the effort, with each putting their own personal and professional spins on the initial version to create an eclectic package of remixes that will be welcome on dance floors world wide.

“Summer Days” has also gained a music video, showing all three artists and more lusting over the same woman as they try to carry on with their perfect Summer day. Watch the visual for this week’s #8* song on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart “Summer Days” below.

Martin Garrix + Patrick Stump’s ‘Summer Days’ Secures Top 15 Billboard Dance Slot

Martin Garrix

Martin Garrix, Patrick Stump and Macklemore‘s mid-year heater “Summer Days” enjoys massive Billboard chart moves from #31* Power Pick to #22* Power Pick to #13* on the current Dance Club Songs Top 50 chart.

The RCA Records-released production highlights the trio’s team effort as the Dutch EDM artist lays the groundwork with a hybrid of instruments and synths over which Macklemore confidently raps “Sundress with you on my arm/Take the coupe out the garage/Pull the roof back just me, you and the stars/Toast to the Gods.” while Fall Out Boy’s lead singer takes center stage on the chorus to tie the recording together.

To date, “Summer Days” has collected a suite of remixes from expert and world-renowned DJ/producers Dirty Werk and Tiesto and Junior Sanchezm each of whom take the original to new heights for international dance floor appeal. Listen to the massive collaboration that holds down this week’s #13* Billboard dance chart slot.

Martin Garrix + Macklemore’s ‘Summer Days’ Jumps With New Remixes On Billboard Dance

Martin Garrix

The monster collaboration between EDM giant Martin Garrix, Fall Out Boy‘s Patrick Stump and Macklemore, “Summer Days,” continues to pick up significant dance floor steam gliding, effortlessly, from #31* to #22* Power Pick on this week’s Billboard Dance Club Songs Top 50 chart.

The infectious warm weather composition comes courtesy of RCA Records and contains an upbeat production that sounds uncharacteristically French – coming from a Netherlands native – and fun-encouraging lyrics from the “Thrift Shop” vocalist while Patrick Stump holds down the chorus: “I got this feeling on a summer day/Knew it when I saw her face/I just thought that she could be the one.” The overall effort is complemented by a visual that sees each collaborator acting out their perfect Summer activities. Watch below.

Club culture support for “Summer Days” has come out in full force via remixes from Dirty Werk as well as world-renowned and fellow main stage headlining DJ/producer Tiesto. Both artists have put their individual stamp on the original, creating multiple high-octane versions that take the initial recording to the next level. Martin Garrix + Macklemore’s ‘Summer Days’ Breaks Out On Billboard’s Dance Chart

Martin Garrix

Martin Garrix‘s daring collab with Macklemore and Fall Out Boy‘s Patrick Stump has immediately gained traction to earn it this week’s #2 Breakout position on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.

The unlikely RCA Records-released composition titled “Summer Days” finds the Dutch maestro creating a bouncy and energetic canvas complete with a slapping bassline on which the “Thrift Shop” rapper recites lyrics about the perfect warm weather, “Sundress with you on my arm/Take the coupe out the garage/Pull the roof back just me, you and the stars/Toast to the Gods.” Patrick Stump further uses his easily recognizable voice to hold down the chorus. The overall result incorporates multiple aspects to create an infectious Summer tune that can easily be played on repeat.

Accompanying the initial recording come remixes from Dirty Werk that put a high octane twist on the original, featuring massive builds and drops that trade off with the unedited vocals of Macklemore and Fall Out Boy’s front man. Listen to this week’s #2 Breakout song on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart via its official video below.
