System Of A Down Drops Video For First New Music In 15 Years: Watch

During November 2020, iconic hard rock band System of a Down released “Protect the Land” and “Genocidal Humanoidz”, their first new music in fifteen years.

According to the group’s Bandcamp page, the band’s two singles “speak of a dire and serious war being perpetrated upon our cultural homelands of Artsakh and Armenia.” Created by members Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian and John Dolmay, SOAD will be donating royalties from Bandcamp to the Aid for Artsakh campaign on YouTube to support the Armenia Fund.

While the “Protect the Land” video dropped earlier, the new visual for “Genocidal Humanoidz” depicts the band playing over animated segments of children running from a demon.

Following a charity livestream to provide humanitarian aid to Armenians affected by the conflict over the disputed area known as Nagorno-Karabakh, System Of A Down premiered the video for “Genocidal Humanoidz” on Saturday (1.31.21).
