Hot on the heels of the release of “Starboy” last week, The Weeknd has unleashed the accompanying visual to the Daft Punk featured track.

Directed by frequent XO collaborator Grant Singer, the video finds The Weekend violently destroying his old persona, signified by his former signature haircut. Using a neon cross Abel thrashes all of his prized possessions and achievements before disappearing into the night via sleek supercar. French electronic duo, Daft Punk makes a brief cameo in the form of a portrait hung on the wall around the 1:20 mark. Watch the video up above.
“Starboy” featuring Daft Punk, is the lead single from The Weeknd’s upcoming album of the same name slated for a November 25 release on XO/Republic. The LP will served as the Weeknd’s first project since the breakout success of his 2015 Beauty Behind the Madness, which included hit singles “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face”.
