Snap Inc. and ticketing website SeatGeek are now teaming up to allow Snapchat users to buy tickets to various music events, Broadway shows and sporting events.

The program, which was originally piloted in February, is part of Snapchat’s broader attempt to attract a more “mature audience” to the app who are willing to spend money on experiences they see in the app. In order to utilize this new feature, Snapchat users would search a given artist or athletic team’s Snapchat channel and swipe upwards once there to see ticket options.

SeatGeek co-founder Russ D’Souza said, “We see Snapchat as an incredible opportunity for teams and artists to increase discovery of their events, while also potentially rewarding their most dedicated fans with exclusive offers.” So this means some users may be able to get access to opportunities that regular ticket buyers may not.

There is no set date for when this ticket-buying option will be fully operational, but it is expected to be rolled out soon.
