From Friday, May 22nd thru the 24th, SiriusXM radio will be putting on their first-ever virtual event in the name of social distancing. The aptly-titled DisDance Festival will be hosted by The Chainsmokers with proceeds benefiting MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund to support music industry workers in need.
The first of its kind online gathering is slated to feature exclusive and new live DJ sets from the some of the biggest artists in dance music, each of whom will beam in from their own homes. Headlining performers include Afrojack, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Deadmau5, Kaskade, Kygo, Major Lazer, Marshmello, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Calvin Harris’ techno alias Love Regenerator and more. Additionally, the event will offer a special not-to-be-missed broadcast of 2011 Avicii set from an exclusive SiriusXM event, which will air on Saturday, May 23rd at 5:00 PM ET.
