Follow weeks of preemptive teasing, Sam Smith has finally released the highly-anticipated single “Diamonds.”
The Universal Music-released title finds the Grammy Award winner singing in his signature falsetto vocal accompanied by a video that features the UK artist dancing around an empty house.
“Diamonds” is Smith’s second solo single this year, following his heartbreak anthem “To Die For” that was released in February and the UK singer/songwriter’s prior 2020 titles include collaborations with Demi Lovato, Burna Boy and Tiwa Savage.
Along with the new release, the Grammy Award winner revealed the updated album title, along with its October 30th release date. “I’m so excited to announce my third album Love Goes. This album is a collection of songs I’ve written over the last two years,” a note shared to Instagram reads. “Each song a separate story.”
