Diana Ross and John Legend follow their Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade performances with live sets at tonight’s Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

A tradition that dates back to 1936, the massive tree marks the unofficial start of New York City’s winter holiday season with additional performances by the legendary Tony Bennett with Diana Krall, multi-platinum selling acapella act, Pentatonix, Martina McBride, Kellie Pickler and more.

The NBC-televised performances start at 7 p.m. thru 9 p.m. EST before the tree is officially lit with over 50,000 bulbs, including the nine-foot Swarovski crystal star topper that contains 3 million crystals and LEDs.
