It is confirmed that The Beatles‘ drummer Ringo Starr is back in the studio and working on a new album.

His representative said, “He has been working on a new record for a few months,” but did not include information as to when the project will be released or what it will be called. The first clue to the new album came on March 14th when the 78-year-old’s recording engineer Bruce Sugar posted a picture of himself, Ringo and All-Starr Band guitarist Steve Lukather on Facebook with the caption, “Another great day in the Studio…”  Starr’s last album, Give More Love, came out in 2017 courtesy of Roccabella Music.
