Even though she is from Barbados, Rihanna is very reluctant to work with Caribbean music producer, Diplo.

Even with his Major Lazer team that has made hits like “Lean On” with MØ or “Cold Water” with Justin Bieber, the “Wild Thoughts” singer doesn’t see the producer’s music as favorable.

In a recent interview, Diplo recounted an interaction he had with Rihanna when he played her a song: “She was like, ‘This sounds like a reggae song at an airport,'”

He’d also shared “Lean On” with her, the song that would go on to become Spotify’s most-streamed track in 2015. Her response to that one? “She was like, ‘I don’t do house music,'” according to Diplo. (With that said, Rihanna did seem fine working with producer Calvin Harris on “This Is What You Came For” and her 2011 hit “We Found Love,” which were both massive tracks that most would indeed be classified as “house music,” or at least EDM-adjacent.)

Rihanna showed no mercy as she posted Paper Magazine’s headline of the news.

#DutyFree 😂😂😂 My bad @diplo
