The renowned vocalist, film star, and original cowboy in the Village People (who celebrate their 40th anniversary this year) debuts on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart at No. 42 (dated August 26) with his new single “Hard Times”.

Fueled by buoyant club remixes from Eric Kupper, Mark Saunders, Drew G, and Tim Cox, among others, Jones resurges into the epicenter of dance music.

“It’s so good to be back in the game… oh, no wait, I never stopped playing the game,” Jones told Music Industry News Network. “Seriously, keeping my voice out there and persistently being able to perform is not only great fun, but it is a testament to those fans who have stayed strong with a cause that is so much greater than anything I could ever do. I’m proud to still be doing what I love to do… every damn week!”
