Just days after being released on bond from 10 charges of sexual misconduct, R. Kelly finds himself back in the Cook County jail for failing to pay $161,663 in child support dues.

David France, manager for Kelly’s ex-wife, Andrea Kelly told the Chicago-Sun Times that the singer had not made any of his payments to which a sheriff’s department spokeswoman said that the Chicago-born artist would be released upon full settlement. Steve Greenberg, Kelly’s lawyer, said at the time that he “really doesn’t have any money at this point,” due to mismanagement and not being able to work due to these ongoing legal troubles.

Authorities set Kelly’s bond in the criminal sex abuse case at $1 million, which meant he was required to come up with 10 percent of that amount in order to be released. It is likely that the money used to free the Grammy winner the first time around is close to the maximum that Kelly has at the moment and will be tied up, unable to be used for the child support issue.

Born Robert Kelly, the singer gave an explosive interview yesterday where he claimed his innocence in an impassioned rant live on camera. Watch the full video here.
