The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce recently announced that P!NK will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Grammy award-winning singer will be recognized under the recording category, with the WOF’s 2,656th star.
To unveil the distinction, the Chamber enlisted fellow Walk of Famers Ellen DeGeneres and Kerri Kenney-Silver; while the President and CEO of the organization, Rana Ghadban, will emcee the February 5th event.
Walk of Fame Producer Ana Martinez announced the news to Pink’s fans: “We are thrilled to honor one of the world’s most popular entertainers, Pink!” she said in a statement. “She is a unique performer who leaves you in a state of joy and surprise at the same time. She mesmerizes the audience with her voice and her action-packed performances!”
This privilege arrives after Pink’s 2017 RCA Records-released album, Beautiful Trauma, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The 13-track LP that contains multiple #1* charting Billboard dance club songs “What About Us” and ‘Beautiful Trauma” is nominated for best pop vocal album, and her single “What About Us” is up for best pop solo at this year’s Grammys.
