After much anticipation and her lead-up single “Walk Me Home,” P!nk has officially unveiled her eighth studio album Hurts 2B Human.

The Grammy Award winner who executive produced the RCA Records-released project decided to recruit the help of many fellow musicians including Beck, Wrabel, Khalid,  and Cash Cash. Rounding out the list are Chris Stapleton, Sia, Julia Michaels, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds among others. The mix of so many artists has created a collection of tracks that is truly eclectic in conveying multiple messages.

One the selections is the Teddy Geiger-assisted “Happy” which belongs on par with Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful” in that it is a song about acceptance – specifically in the transgender community. For listeners who don’t pick up on the nuance immediately, they will hear the overarching message regardless in the lyrics, “I don’t wanna be this way forever/Keep telling myself that I’ll get better/Every time I try I always stop me/Maybe I’m just scared to be happy.” Listen to “Happy” and more on the whole Hurts 2B Human album from P!nk below.
