Following multiple #1*-charting singles from P!nk, she is back with “Can We Pretend” as the #46* Debut on this week’s edition of the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. The RCA Records-released single was co-written by the Pennsylvania native along with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and artist/DJ trio Cash Cash.

“Can We Pretend” finds P!nk once again asking important questions in order to make things work with her significant other: “So can we pretend that I’m 22 today?/Dancin’ on the tables with you, oh yeah/Can we pretend that we all end up okay?/I just wanna forget with you, oh yeah.” The recording’s vocals are further backed up by the team of Jean Paul and Alex Makhlouf, as well as Samuel Frisch who provide appropriate ambient instrumentals that blossom into an energetic electronic drop that they know how to do so well.

The track is accompanied by remixes provided by EDM aficionado MOTi, who took the original, added his own flare, and cranked up the energy to 11. Check out the new take here.

This week’s #46* Debut song immediately acquired a visual that sees P!nk starring as an astronaut exploring space. Throughout her expedition, she misses her husband and kids while looking at photos of them. Check out the animated video for “Can We Pretend” below.
