As the standout single from her debut album, Piper Madison‘s “Little Bit Of Rain” locks in this #15* slot on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs Top 50 chart from it’s former #23* Power Pick position two weeks prior.

Courtesy of Bug On The Camel records, the independently released track finds the actress/composer singing “I’ve got rocks in the blood stream, too much of you in my veins/ But you can water down honey, with a little bit of rain/ they say we’re all the same, but you move differently/ you’re honest in your letters, sign them all ‘sincerely’.” And the former ballad comes full-circle with the addition of lightly-plucked guitar and percussion.

Accompanying the 17-year-old’s recording is a video made in conjunction with Diane Musselman to raise awareness about domestic violence issues.

Thanks in large part to Grammy-nominated DJ/producer Chris Cox his decades of accumulated club culture knowledge and expertise have created remixed versions that turn Piper Madison’s solemn “Little Bit Of Rain” into a dance floor heater.
