This mega-concert really showed what can be accomplished if people put their minds together in the name of peace and love.

Less than a week after the Manchester bombing, Miley Cyrus joined Pharrell Williams on stage to perform his hit “Happy” at Ariana Grande‘s One Love Manchester benefit concert, which took place last night (June 4) at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

Before calling Cyrus out to the stage, Williams noted that “Despite all the things that have been going on in this place, I don’t feel, or hear, or smell, or see any fear in this building. All we feel here tonight is love, resilience, positivity,” which echoed the words of Scooter Braun’s statement last week. Prior to “Happy,” Williams played Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” accompanied by Mumford & Sons’ Marcus Mumford on guitar.

The concert was put on in order to raise money for the families of the victims of the attack last week in Manchester. The benefit show itself raised about £2 million for the families who lost loved ones in the Manchester concert.
