After launching his inaugural Something in the Water festival earlier this year, Pharrell is already thinking about 2020. This week, Live Nation announced that the singer/songwriter/artist/designer would bring back his multi-day fest to his hometown of Virginia Beach next April 20-26.
The 7-day gathering will be presented in two sections, with the first four days devoted to some of “the brightest minds from the culinary world, technology, environmental sustainability, health & wellness, media and more,” according to a press release. Then, from April 24th through April 26th, Pharrell will enlist some of music’s brightest stars to touchdown in his city for another exhilarating set of shows.
Exclusive local pre-sales for the April 24-26 dates will be available this Saturday (October 19th) for Virginia residents, from 12 PM EST through 5 PM EST. Tickets can also be purchased in-person at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater or online at somethinginthewater.com. Missy Elliott, J. Balvin, Lil Uzi Vert and Rosalia all performed at this year’s edition, so fans should expect the same caliber of artistry going into 2020. Lineup announcements are coming soon.
