As part of Pepsi’s #PepsiGenerations campaign this summer, the beverage maker will be putting Michael Jackson’s likeness on cans. The late “Thriller” singer appears alongside similar retro designs featuring Pepsi-affiliated artists such as Ray Charles and Britney Spears.
The campaign’s aim is to put a spotlight on Pepsi’s biggest pop culture moments throughout history. It is a continuation of February’s “This is the Pepsi” Super Bowl commercial narrated by Jimmy Fallon.
Michael Jackson first appeared in Pepsi ads in 1984 and was again featured posthumously in 2012 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his album Bad. Check out the Michael Jackson can that will be available only in the U.S. and other select countries below.
