Increasing its power on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart once again after weeks of strong showings, Oliver Heldens, Riton and Vula‘s “Turn Me On” has jumped to #4*, thus putting it solidly within the survey’s Top 5.

Released via RCA Records / Ministry of Sound, the massive and infectious collaboration borrows noticeable aspects from both the 1982 Yaz classic, “Don’t Go” and 1977’s “Doctor Love” by First Choice, to create a mixture of new and old that works effortlessly as a new-era dance banger. Vula Malinga vocalizes “And just give me some love/ ‘Cause I’m running out of that feeling/ Doctor, prescribe me that drug/ ‘Cause I need some more of your healing” over the melding of minds taken on by Riton and Heldens.

Club culture support has aided the original effort with the addition of remixes conducted by Marshall Jefferson, and most recently, S54 (aka the Official Studio 54) with more to come. Listen to this week’s #4* track on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart via its dark music video below.
