Fire In My Soul” is this week’s (premature) Billboard Dance Club Songs chart entry as Oliver Heldens celebrates his new partnership with RCA Records.

The internationally renowned DJ/remixer/producer/artist’s latest offering is the finished product of a week’s worth of writing with Shungudzo, Oak Felder and The Orphanage, who combined their respective home countries’ vibes into a musical blend of the Netherlands, Turkey, Zimbabwe, and North America, including a myriad of raw instrumentals

As part of its American club culture campaign, Grammy-nominated DJ/producer Chris Cox contributes a variety of vocal and instrumental/dub mixes that accentuate the Brazilian flavor of the original version. Reeling back the hard dance bite and focusing on its natural production, the West coast-based remixer creates a versatile and dance floor-focused recording reminiscent of “Pasilda” by Afro Medusa. Listen to the new take on this week’s #5 Breakout “Fire In My Soul” below.

The 24-year-old Heldens is currently in the middle of his Heldeep 5 tour, visiting such iconic venues as Echostage in Washington DC, Exchange in Los Angeles, and a special 250th edition of his Heldeep Radio broadcast in New York City, commemorating the show’s on-air, five-year anniversary.
