Following a flurry of hot 2020 releases – including “Details,” “Take A Chance,” “Rave Machine” and more – house music heavyweight Oliver Heldens has come out with yet another new creation – this time from his alter ego HI-LO.
Coming courtesy of deadmau5’s mau5trap Records, “Zeus,” stays true to the Heldens / HI-LO alias. Featuring a more progressive construction, the recording builds from of a highly-melodic composition into a heavy bass line and percussion that propel the effort forward. Those who supported his previous tracks “Poseidon” or “LazersX999” will easily gravitate towards the dark, enchanting feel of “Zeus.”
Heldens originally took fans by surprise when he first released “Crank It Up” as HI-LO through Mad Decent in 2015. Since then, the Dutch producer has sporadically dropped tracks under the HI-LO moniker. Straying from Oliver’s usual upbeat sound and aiming toward subdued, tech house listen to “Zeus”.
