In an attempt to restore normalcy to the live concert experience a variety of venues in Nashville have joined forces in a new campaign to encourage Americans to wear masks and take safety precautions to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
Launched Wednesday (August 19th), the #MaskNowPartyLater initiative aims at bringing awareness to the live music sector and how slowing the virus spread will help bring live music back. The collective features the city’s creators, vendors, sports teams, venues, athletes and artists using hashtags in order to educate the public on what’s involved in getting live events up and running as quickly as possible.
The campaign has created a variety of images for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter that fans and other influencers can post and share. The initiative also encourages users to create their own visuals and asks fans to wear a mask, social distance and stay home as often as possible.
