After canceling their original dates like many other festivals due to COVID-19, Movement Detroit is one of the first events to put their new dates on the calendar.

Originally scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend, the annual techno and house music gathering has been moved to September 11-13th. “Due to the developing COVID-19 restrictions and our ongoing communications with State and City officials, it is with a great sense of responsibility that we have rescheduled Movement 2020. […] We are receiving commitments from production teams and performing artists for the new dates and have been working around the clock to share some positive news we can all look forward to.”

In keeping things constant, anyone who’s already bought a ticket will have a valid pass for this September’s edition OR the 2021 festival and refunds will also be available for anyone who can’t attend either. Check out Movement Detroit’s official statement below.
