Almost exactly five years after its release, Psy‘s record-setting video for “Gangnam Style” has been surpassed as YouTube’s most-watched clip.

After becoming the first video to reach one billion views, the visual now has 2,894,653,630 views (as of July 11), but that’s no longer enough to hold the title.

The video that knocked Psy’s viral hit off of the top was none other than Wiz Khalifa‘s “See You Again,” featuring Charlie Puth. As of the writing of this post, the video had 2,904,683,145 views.

The tear-jerking Furious 7 ballad (that also serves as a tribute to the late Paul Walker) is and was definitely a popular song, but (at least in my circle) it did not seem to be as wildly viral as “Gangnam Style” was. Nonetheless, the fans have spoken with their views and we now have a new most-viewed video.
