Morgan Wallen Unleashes ‘Dangerous’ Double Album: Listen

Kicking off 2021 in fine musical form, Morgan Wallen unveiled his most formidable project yet with the 30-track double album, Dangerous: The Double Album.

The massive collection of musical material encompasses a number of emotions, phases, and influences involved in the young 27-year-old talent’s life. The Republic Records-released repertoire ranges from heartfelt confessions to classic country party cuts including an appearance by Chris Stapleton.

“The ‘double album’ idea started off as just a joke between me and my manager because we had accumulated so many songs over the past couple of years,”  Wallen said in a November statement announcing the record. “Then quarantine hit, and we realized it might actually be possible to have enough time to make it happen. I also ended up writing quite a few more songs during the quarantine with some of my good buddies.”

To coincide with the release of his sophomore studio set, the “More Than My Hometown” singer also debuted a new enhanced album experience on Spotify (below) that takes fans behind the scenes of his creative process.
