This past weekend, Miley Cyrus showed off two different sides from her Younger Now album on this weekend’s SNL.
On the Saturday Night Live stage, Cyrus decided to sing her album’s “Bad Mood” and country-tingled ballad “I Would Die for You,” rather than the lead single “Malibu.” The songs were interesting picks as it was assumed that she would have performed her top singles “Malibu” and “Younger Now.”
Cyrus’s vocals were impressive and rough-edged, basically the closest to rocker Miley we’ve ever gotten. And while Cyrus is often giving out a “party on the beach” vibe, here, the effort shows.
The singer also performed in “The Baby Step” music video skit, where she starred as rapper “Baby Snatch” in none other than a pink onesie and pigtails.
