Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus brought an array of musical genres to this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live when they performed the newly-dropped “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” and “Happy Xmas (War Is Over).”
During their first turn on the stage at Studio 8H, the two dressed up in sparkling silver suits for their recent RCA Records release where the Grammy nominated 26-year-old delivered her trademark Country vocals while the DJ/producer behind such hits as “Electricity” and “Uptown Funk” donned an acoustic guitar. The exhibition came complete with the car chase visuals from the song’s official video as a backdrop.

For their second performance, the SNL veterans spearheaded a cover of John Lennon and Yoko Ono‘s modern Christmas classic “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)”, accompanied on guitar by Lennon’s son, Sean. The “Wrecking Ball” singer wore a red, floral sequined dress while Ronson offered back-up vocals to the iconic song’s chorus. Watch the two exciting performances below.
