Meghan Trainor dropped the soul-stirring “Run Like the River” on Friday (July 26th) as the first taste of the soundtrack from the upcoming animated feature Playmobil: The Movie.

Propelled by a jubilant piano instrumental, Trainor sings “I believe in you, you know what to do/ Be the hero that’s like no one else/ You’ve been here before, closing every door/ Happiness is what you owe yourself,” before the triumphant chorus kicks the energy up ten notches aided by the addition of pounding drums.

The Sony Music-released recording written by the “All About That Bass” singer will appear on an album that features a score by Grammy-winning composer Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Smallfoot). The 25-track collection from the film about the beloved plastic toys (due August 2nd) can be pre-ordered here, until then, enjoy “Run Like the River” below.

The film also features Trainor as the Fairy Godmother along with Jim Gaffigan, Daniel Radcliffe, Anya Taylor-Joy, Kenan Thompson and Adam Lambert voicing various other parts.
