Meghan Trainor took to social media on Wednesday (November 6th) to confirm that her long-awaited and highly-anticipated third album, Treat Myself, will officially be released early next year.

“I got to announce the OFFICIAL release date of my album Treat Myself exclusively on @theellenshow today!!!” the 25-year-old pop star shared on Instagram along with the collection’s January 31st release date. “We’ve worked so hard to bring this album to life and I cannot wait to finally share it with the world…for realz this time.”

First announced back in 2018, the effort has battled through multiple setbacks. Originally slated to drop in the summer of 2018, Treat Myself was preceded by lead single “No Excuses” as well as promo tracks “Let You Be Right,” “Can’t Dance,” “All The Ways” and the title track before being pushed to 2019. As delays mounted, Trainor changed tactics to tide over fans, releasing the 6-track EP The Love Train (which included the previously released “All the Ways”) last February. Now the project will be unveiled in 2020.
