The monster collaboration between EDM giant Martin Garrix, Fall Out Boy‘s Patrick Stump and Macklemore, “Summer Days,” continues to pick up significant dance floor steam gliding, effortlessly, from #31* to #22* Power Pick on this week’s Billboard Dance Club Songs Top 50 chart.
The infectious warm weather composition comes courtesy of RCA Records and contains an upbeat production that sounds uncharacteristically French – coming from a Netherlands native – and fun-encouraging lyrics from the “Thrift Shop” vocalist while Patrick Stump holds down the chorus: “I got this feeling on a summer day/Knew it when I saw her face/I just thought that she could be the one.” The overall effort is complemented by a visual that sees each collaborator acting out their perfect Summer activities.
