EDM superstar Martin Garrix and the fresh and talented Khalid have come together to create a top-notch collaboration, “Ocean,” which is this week’s #22* Power Pick on the Billboard Dance Club Singles chart. The song, which began as a suggestion by a fan on Twitter in late 2017, has blossomed into a full production with its own music video.
To date, the joint RCA / STMPD RCRDS release has been played 206,000,000+ times on Spotify while the official video garners over 171,000,000 streams. The effort has been boosted by a remix package which features reworks by Silque, DubVision and more.
The accompanying clip is a showing of smoke and mirrors in which the “Location” singer takes center stage while a presumed Garrix takes turns between being locked in a translucent box with a female love interest and walking through lighting displays.
