Starting 2020 in fine firm with his Dean Lewis collaboration, Martin Garrix‘ “Used To Love” jumps from #42* Hot Shot Debut to the #31* Power Pick position on this week’s edition of the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.

Coming in hot after his 2019 hits, “Summer Days” featuring Macklemore and Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, and “Home” featuring Bonn, this RCA Records-released effort finds an immediate home between Pop radio and EDM festival sets. Propelled by Lewis’ voice, the song details the artists’ past: “But you will never be left behind/ Give me a moment, I need just a little more time/ If I could, I would have made things right/ But we can’t go back to the way that we used to love.”

Reminiscent of his 2017 “Scared To be Lonely” collaboration with Dua Lipa, the native-Netherlands producer takes over on the musical drop as reflected in this official music video.

Complimenting the original composition, dance floor friendly remixes have been provided by Marc Stout & Tony Arzadon that put a new spin on “Used To Love” that continues its climb up the national Billboard dance charts.
