Mark Ronson’s ‘Late Night Feelings’ Obtains Power Pick Status On Billboard’s Dance Chart
After previously holding the #40* Hot Shot Debut position, Mark Ronson‘s collaboration with Lykke Li is now the #26* Power Pick on this week’s edition of the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
The title track from from the Grammy-winning artist/producer/DJ’s now-available album Late Night Feelings finds him creating a very 70’s-esque disco soundscape that sets a perfect environment for the Swedish songstress to sing “My heart keeps pulling in the wrong direction/I’m about to cross the line/Looking for the wrong affection/Night after night/Trying to find a new distraction/Want to make it last all night/Everything that I’ve been mixin’/All mixed up inside.” As always, Ronson’s production fits hand-in-hand with the accompanying vocals to construct an ever-captivating recording.
English man of many talents Jax Jones and California native Chris Cox have come in with solid club culture support via remixes that take the best parts from the RCA Records-released song and combine those with their own personal styles to create new versions that are universally accepted on dance floors world wide.
