The latest offering from his current full length, Late Night Feelings, Mark Ronson teams up with Yebba on “Don’t Leave Me Lonely.” And one of his self-proclaimed “sad bangers” on the collection, the recording jumps onto this week’s Billboard Dance Club Songs chart at #42*.
This RCA Records-released track addresses issues pertaining to relationship break ups and loss as the Brooklyn native sings “Tell me baby what’s on your heart?/’Cause I’ve been wandering around in your dark, yeah/ I’ve got way too many questions, always learning lessons/ Loving too hard (loving too hard)” under which Ronson lays down an impactful yet delicate rhythm track.
The video visual for “Don’t Leave Me Lonely” finds both artists performing together outdoors in the dark, before the sun rises, accompanied by an army of black-clad onlookers.
Following the drop of “Don’t Leave Me Lonely,” dance floor support is intensified by way of world-renowned artist/DJ/producers Claptone and Purple Disco Machine. Listen to one of the new versions here.
