The RCA Records-released effort featured on the production/DJ savant’s latest album Late Night Feelings, follows his previous top-charting, title track with Lykke Li. Ronson’s first two singles carry similar messages as Cabello and Li are kept away from their muse (Ronson). Throughout “Find U Again,” the Cuban-American singer/songwriter (who rose to prominence as a member of Fifth Harmony) sings of how her love separation is taking its toll.
“I’ll try to pass the night away with somebody new/ But they don’t have a shot when I compare them to you/ It’s too late, too late/ Baby, I know I’ll never find you again/ Find you again” the 22-year-old sings atop a reeled-back instrumental that accentuates her voice. The entire production comes to life via the official video that sees the “Uptown Funk” creator searching for Cabello and finally running away with her in a true Western fashion.
