Due to issues with “highly specialized production elements,” a Live Nation promoter recently said that Madonna is delaying her Madame X tour.

The trek, originally slated to begin September 12th, will kick off five days later on the 17th at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York. The September 12th and 14th shows at the venue have been rescheduled to October 10th and 12th, respectively, with tickets being honored at the new dates. The September 15th concert, however, has unfortunately been canceled with fans receiving refunds automatically.

Though Madonna herself has not commented specifically about the news, she did take to Instagram to post a statement. “Madame X is a perfectionist and her fans deserve nothing but the best!!” she wrote, before adding: “Thank you for your patience.” See the message below.

Given The Queen of Pop’s highest standards for her elaborate shows, it makes sense that the highly-anticipated tour would be put on hold in order to keep every aspect of her über-fantastic production up to her standards. Watch this space for more regarding the upcoming Madame X shows.
